Girls Churro Chips, melted candy magic, and a whole lot of fun.
The Scoop:
We love being extra and this recipe is exactly that. So if you have a Halloween haul overload or a Birthday candy stash, this ones for you. Turn your favorite sweets into the dessert nachos of your dreams — starring Girls Churro Chips as the crispy, cinnamon-sugar base. Our dessert nachos are warm, melty, shareable, totally customizable, and it is really fun for all ages to build.
🍭 Ingredients:
- 1 bag Girls Churro Chips
- ¼ cup chocolate chips (milk, dark, or white)
- 2 tbsp caramel sauce or dulce de leche
- ¼ cup crushed Oreos
- ¼ cup chopped Reese’s (our favorite) and any of your extra holiday chocolates
- ¼ cup Heath Bar bits or toffee crumbles
- Mini marshmallows (optional)
- Candy corn, gummy bears, or other Halloween candy (optional + wild card!)
- Optional toppings after warming: whipped cream, ice cream, crushed pretzels, or sprinkles
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 325°F-350°F (or microwave works great if you don’t want to wait!)
- Assemble the base:
Spread Girls Churro Chips evenly in a single layer on a sheet pan or microwave-safe plate. - Add the goods:
Sprinkle chocolate chips, crushed candies, and marshmallows evenly over the chips. Drizzle caramel over the top. - Warm it up:
Warm in oven for 12-18 minutes or in the microwave in 10-20 second intervals — just until the chocolate melts and everything gets gooey. We particularly enjoy the sweet cinnamon smell that takes over your house during this part! - Add cool toppings:
Let cool just slightly. Top with ice cream, whip cream, crushed pretzels or graham cracker, sprinkles, and a chocolate drizzle. - Serve & Enjoy:
Enjoy scooping your oooey gooey Girls Chips into the cool sweet creams with your best friends after dinner, during your movie night, with the kids while you play board games, or like us – just as a carnal girl directly from the pan on the stove top 🤤
💡 Ideas & Variations:
- Make it spooky: Use Halloween-colored candies or crushed Oreo’s and gummy worms.
- Theme it: Match the toppings to the occasion — red & green for Christmas, pastel eggs for Easter, candied pecans and pumpkin spice for fall, etc.
- Party station: Let kids (or grown-ups) each make their own quarter sheet with toppings of choice.
- Make it healthier: Use honey, dried fruits, crushed nuts, whipped coconut milk, and your favorite yogurt or sherbet for a healthier sweet-tooth satisfaction.
Why We Love it:
- Perfect for leftover candy season (Hey Halloween 👋)
- Interactive and fun for all ages — let your kids or guests build their own combos
- Ooey-gooey comfort meets cinnamon-y crunch
- Girls Churro Chips hold up beautifully to melty toppings without going limp
- Customizable for all seasons with more shareable flavor and fun
